She's Here!

Bag Lady May of 2012
A wonderful surprise Kaylan is here with me. I couldn't believe my eyes that day when she walked toward me while I stood on that stage at the end of the show. My granddaugther, Kaylan was there to see my show.
Every time I would do Bag Lady I thought about my granddaughter and I would wonder if she would like the show. I would wonder if she would think that I was a good actress. I wanted her to be the little girl dancer in the show. Seeing her that day walking towards me was a surprise of a life time. She was there on that stage in my arms.
To share my creativity with her is such a wonderful gift. I've dreamed of writing a book and doing a show and having my granddaughter see and experience them with me. I wanted us to have tea and cookies and I tell her my life stories.  I wanted her to see me as a wise old lady, a lady that she could come to for a hug and advice. I wanted her to see me as beautiful and smart. There she was seeing me sharing my story and all its uglyest and all it's pain. She heard my story and she saw my book she even held it in her hands. My joy was there for me that day she was in my arms. In between my tears when I was 14 years old bringing my only son into the world God knew that there would be my joy and she would know me. My book is for my granddaughter because I love her.

Gotta Have The Book

In Between My Tears is everywhere this book. I have to say that I've been so amazed that so many people are asking me for the book. I've gotten several phone calls of people that have read the book and shared their joy of reading the book.
I was selling my books from two locations, the Focus Bookstore and the Jeep Bookstore where every our wheels took us we would sell a book.
This is so exciting!
Gotta get the book www.inbetweenmytears.com online only for $8.99

Living The Dream

At 15 years

old I was giving my very first diary from my teacher, Ms. Graves. She told me to take that and write my next chapter of my life. I was moving on to Vista Maria Home For Girls. I was so afriad then going to a place that I thought I didn't need to go or wouldn't fit in there. She looked me in the eyes and told me that I was going to be just fine and I was going to make an impact there and I was going to learn how strong I am. She believed in me. I wanted to write my story.

My book In Between My Tears are all about the lessons I'd learned while living at Vista Maria. I will always treasure those years I spent there the girls especially they were fun, exciting and loving. We spent hours sharing our hearts and our fears and joys with each other. I felt like we were really a family the sisters I've always wanted to have. I just loved them all Bulla, Anita, Baby, Patty, Donna, Wendy, Fawn and the list can go on and on. They helped me grow up to be the woman they am I today. Writing In Between My Tears helped me relived those prescious moments.
